About me

I thought it was about time to let you know a bit more about me. I've been a crafter for as long as I can remember doing knitting, crochet, tapestry, long stitch, cross stitch and now papercrafts. I love to scrapbook and make cards. I enjoy trying new techniques and watching demos on tv then trying to create a similar effect from what I have in my stash - which won't necessarily be what they used!! Until just over 3 years ago, I used to regularly teach workshops and do demonstration days for a couple of craft shops near where I then lived. That came to a grinding halt when a back problem that I've had since my late teens worsened to the point that I could no longer stand or sit long enough to take them. I used to love doing them and do miss the company of other crafters but that has been alleviated by finding this Forum.

I was lucky enough to find love again in middle age and Tom & I married in february 2007. We are both Registered Spiritual Healers and care passionately about helping others with what we do.
